I am naturally hair lazy. I wear my hair bunned or banded. I am all over the place with my routine, but my regimen is simple. I was with shampoo once a week, and co-wash a few times during the week. Coming out of the summer season, I use Suave poo/con, I test them all out. Fall and Winter, I am faithful to Aphogee. I oil my hair with coconut oil and seal with mango butter daily. I am a fan of the baggy method and do it often, especially overnight, and at times during the day. Because I am mostly bunned, a bagged head means my hair is already styled, so if I have to go out, I take it off and go. I am a stay at home mom who also home schools, so it's nothing for me to stay bagged. I never use heat or trim my hair. I do not use any hair appliances either. I use a wide tooth oiled wooden comb and a wide paddle brush with oiled wooden bristles. I do have a Denman and use it at times. Detangling from root to end with my wide tooth comb works for me, it's not a suggestion, just sharing what works for me. Hope to hear from you all, while sharing what I can.

I've been consistently natural for 2 years (after a big chop in April 2009), but did another big chop in July 2011. I can't wait for my hair to get back to it's 2 years length (collar bone when stretched), but I have to be patient. I guess you can say I'm an expert with maintaining my hair, but still looking forward to reading about other naturals good and bad experiences.
