Comment by Allison Frith on February 6, 2012 at 4:07pm Hey,
Jamaican descent, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and current DMV resident. Wanted to invite the Caribbean Naturals to check out my jewelry line! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pretty-Little-Wire-Handmade-Jewelry/2...
Hello everyone!
Im a proud "Yankee" as they say, born on the island of Barbados, I'ved lived in the U.S. the majority of my life but consider myself to be a West Indian/Caribbean at heart. Just joined this site yesterday and wanted to say Hello! I've been natural now since 2008, but really just started taking better care of my hair around Sept 2011. I've been using braid extentions as a protective style and for length but have recently switched to twist which seem to allow my hair to grow better. Still learning how to get around this site so we'll chat another time.
